The Central Alerting System (CAS) is a web-based cascading system for issuing patient safety alerts, important public health messages and other safety critical information and guidance to the NHS and others, including independent providers of health and social care.

25/05/2022: We have updated the alert deadline on NatPSA/2022/002/MHRA to 12/07/2022.

Extended deadlines: given the current situation the below alert deadlines have been extended:This afternoon we have issued a new alert under reference NatPSA/2022/001/MHRA; this was issued in error. We are arranging to remove this alert from the website, there is no need to record any response. We have updated alert NatPSA/2022/002/MHRA. A further email will be sent to recipients this afternoon - 03/05/2022
