A Patient Safety Alert around the continued occurrence of harm caused by incidents involving misplaced nasogastric tubes. It directs providers of NHS-funded care to a new NHS Improvement resource set created to support boards (or their equivalents) to assess whether previous alerts and guidance around nasogastric tubes has been implemented and embedded within their organisations.
