This alert provides an update on the supply status of ranitidine products. Tablets, effervescent tablets, oral solutions and ranitidine injection are all expected to shortly be out of stock with no date for resupply until further notice.

This alert contains advice on the management of affected patients.

This is an update to SDA/2019/005. CAS Liaison Officers should close off SDA/2019/005 if it is still open, noting in the comments box that it has been superceded by this alert.
